They were dusty as hell, because no one went to that part of the store, but they're still selling the wheel for 299.99. They seem like they've been there for a long time. Anyone think I can ask for a discount to take if off their hands?

Also, the pedals. I see the base is made of plastic, while the pedals look like theyre metal. Are they durable? I'd hate to spend all that money to have the pedals break.

If you're not looking to haggle they're $220 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-941-0…

As far as durability the G27 is kind of the standard for budget racing wheels. I don't own one myself, but I'm planning on buying one when GT6 is released, so I've kind of read up on it. If you read the reviews on Amazon it seems like a solid product.

I own one. Bought it specifically for GT5. Had it about 3 years now, it is holding up quite well. The pedals are metal. I found one online for cheap. I think I got it for $258 with whatever tax and shipping there might have been. Only downside I could see is the shifter is only a 6 speed, so it's not perfect for the new 7 speed cars.

As said elsewhere, yes the pedals are durable. I've had a G25 for years and save for one temparamental button, everything is fuctioning perfectly.
